Fellowship, where has it gone?

What is fellowship? Where has is gone? In the bible we see that God created us to have fellowship with Him and with one another. Jesus told his disciples that one of the greatest commandments was to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Where has love gone? In the time and age we live in fellowship has been taken for granted and exchanged for movie nights and sports. Could it be that fellowship is a vital part of our walk with Christ and until we realize it we might not be walking in God's perfect path/will for our lives.
